Training for the Electronic Medical Record System (EMR) is required prior to receiving access. Click the appropriate link below for training information and directions for accessing the training portals. Be sure your manager completes the Access Request form on the Service Desk Portal.

Human Resources

Lawson Self-Service will allow you to access the online portal that contains your payroll information: pay stub, vacation/personal time available, and your work history.  To learn more about Lawson Self-Service access UMMS U and locate the HRSD training sessions.  To access Lawson Self-Service, click here.

Employee Timekeeping

Kronos is the employee timekeeping system that Human Resources use to determine employee pay. Employees swipe in and out of the Kronos machines at the beginning and end of their work days or shifts. Managers who manage the timekeeping for specific departments and employees will need to complete Online Training and the Kronos Access Request form, click here.

Services and Supply Ordering (HEMM/HEFM)

HEMM/HEFM is the ordering system for services and supplies through the Procure to Payment process. Anyone who is required to order supplies or services needs to attend this training. Training can be requested by completing the Request for Access form and then submitting it to the Helpdesk at your facility. You will be notified of the next available training date. Production Changes

Change Management: Cherwell is the software used to record software and hardware changes to systems that are used at individual facilities or throughout the entire Medical System. Training can be requested by sending an email to the Helpdesk, click here. Training dates, times and instructions will be sent via email within two business days.

Training is available at The UMMS Microsoft Office Training Center. This site provides instructional videos for using Microsoft Office and Outlook Web Access (OWA).
