About the USC
Initially established as part of our COVID-19 response, the UMMS Staffing Center (USC) has transitioned to a permanent UMMS resource. The Center prioritizes hiring staff to fill roles that are primarily involved in the direct care of patients to support patient care across the University of Maryland Medical System.

The One UMMS Above & Beyond Volunteer Program matches UMMS Shared Services team members to volunteer roles within our entities on specific dates throughout the year that align with weeks of service.
