UMMSmobile is a communication system that will allow for the shared usage of a pool of iPhones that are accessible within hospital units stored in UMMSmobile docking stations. The user will access one of the shared iPhones by tapping a badge on the associated badge reader and then taking the device that is identified by a ready light. The mobile phone will be automatically assigned to the user and preloaded with the defined applications making the device ready for use.
