Quick Start Device Information

Quick Start Device Check-Out Instructions:
Step 1: Tap your badge against the badge reader. The reader will beep once indicating a successful scan.
- 1 Beep: Indicates a successful scan
- 2 Beeps: User not found. Indicates a problem with your badge or you are not registered with Imprivata. Please contact helpdesk.
- 3 Beeps: Phones are not available for checkout at this station. Please find another station to have a device assigned.
- 4 Beeps: You already have a phone checked out. This phone must be returned before you can be assigned a new one.
Step 2: The assigned iPhone assigned to you will illuminate with the screen turning green and the device will unlock. Take your assigned iPhone from the docking station.
Step 3: Prepare your assigned iPhone for use by hitting the home button on the device to display the applications, and logging in to the applications you need.
- Note: You may not be automatically logged in to your applications and will need to login manually. Logging in to Jaber will cause your assigned phone number to attach to the phones.
Quick Start Device Check-In Instructions (Return):
Step 1: Return to the UMMSmobile docking station where you originally check out the phone from.
Step 2: Place the device in any open port of the UMMSmobile docking station.
Step 3: Ensure that the device is seated properly for charging. Otherwise your phone will not be checked in. You do not need to log out of any applications, your information will be automatically removed from the iPhone and prepared for the next user.

Jabber
The Cisco Jabber App allows you to make and receive calls from your work number through your device
To login:
- Open the application > allow access to contacts and microphone
- On the login screen, enter your EPICusername@umm.edu and follow/answer the prompts accordingly.

TigerConnect
TigerConnect is the communication and on-call scheduling platform for the enterprise
To Login:
- Open the TigerConnect mobile application
- Enter your EPICUSERNAME@umm.edu and select next.
On the next screen will populate your login automatically.
- Enter your EPIC password and select “Sign In”.
- Follow the prompts. Then “Activate” phone security and Send the autogenerated text message. You will then need to SKIP the error message.
Boxer

Boxer is a smart email tool for your device
To Login:
- Open the Boxer Application and agree to the privacy and data sharing prompts.
- On the welcome screen, enter your EPIC password.
- Follow the prompts and answer accordingly.
