• Celebrate Women's History Month by Sharing Stories About the Women Who Inspired You: At one time or another, we have all been inspired by women in history or in our own lives who have moved, motivated, and influenced us in ways big and small. This year, to celebrate Women’s History Month, we are asking all UMMS team members to share your stories and photos of the women who have inspired you in your lives.
• UMMS 2022 W-2 Forms Now Available Online: Your calendar year 2022 W-2 form – which reports a team member’s annual wages and the amount of taxes withheld from their paycheck – are now available online via HR Connections Employee Self-Service.
• Move to Level Yellow for Visitation and Infection Prevention: On Wednesday, September 7, 2022, the University of Maryland Medical System (UMMS) will move to Level Yellow for Infection Prevention guidance across all facilities. This will be reflected in our UMMS Tiered Approach to Infection Prevention Practice and Presence at the Workplace (UMMS Tiered Approach) and our Strict Patient Safety (Visitor) Policy.
• Guidance on MonkeyPox: A guide for team members on caring for a patient with potential MonkeyPox Infection. 

• UMMS COVID-19 Resources: UMMS local hospital clinics will begin offering the updated COVID-19 booster shot to eligible team members, click here to learn more. If you received your booster shot at a non-UMMS location, we are now requiring you to submit documentation to us so we can update your vaccination status in our system. Visit umms.org/VaxReporting and click the button that says, “Submit Your Documentation.”
