Above & Beyond Volunteer Program

The One UMMS Above & Beyond Volunteer Program matches UMMS Shared Services team members to volunteer roles within our entities. This innovative program was developed during the COVID-19 pandemic to meet the needs of our team members and patients. Because of its success and the positive feedback we received from volunteers and our member organizations, we will now be offering the program through the UMMS Staffing Center throughout the year on specific dates that align with weeks of service including:

• Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day (January)
• National Volunteer Week (April)
• Hospital Week (May)
• 9/11 Day of Service and Remembrance (September)
• Veterans Day through Giving Tuesday (November)
