MedSpeed: New System-Wide Courier

All UMMS employees now have access to MedSpeed, our new provider for all courier services across the University of Maryland Medical System. MedSpeed has extensive experience partnering with large, complex health systems like UMMS in handling all delivery needs, ranging from lab specimens to administrative reports.

Transitioning to this single provider for courier service advances our vision of becoming a more efficient and sustainable System as One UMMS. MedSpeed’s expertise in health care-delivery and their expansive network of drivers and vehicles will result in a more consistent quality of service no matter what is being couriered, as well as cost savings across the System.
