Policy Changes
Thank you for your support of the Care Delivery Optimization Documentation and Practice Streamlining. We have recommended several policy changes to support changes to how nurses document in the medical record.
There have been 2 Relief Bundles with Policy Changes:
June 16, 2022 - Policy Flyer - Relief Bundle 4
Relief Bundle 4 includes policy changes for Non-Violent Restraints as well as a new Non-Violent Restraint Audit Tool. This tool includes the auditing of proper restraint assessment and attestation utilization.
January 13, 2022 - Policy Flyer - Relief Bundle 1
Relief Bundle 1 includes policy changes to allow attestation in documentation for the head-to-toe assessment, wound care, and specialty assessments. It also changes plan of care and mechanical ventilation frequency.
All CDO changes have been vetted by the following governance structures.
