Find a Doctor Enhancements
An important part of enhancing engagement on our digital platforms is providing helpful, up-to-date information not just on our services but also UMMS providers.
Our own online physician profiles help prospective patients get to know the providers in our network and learn about their backgrounds. Your profile can be a valuable promotional tool that serves as another gateway to our website and eventually to online scheduling options.
To enable patients to act on the information in your profile, we need to ensure that the information is accurate, engaging and up to date.
Integrating Press Ganey Ratings and Reviews into FAD, an improvement that is currently being implemented, will provide patients with even more reason to choose an UMMS provider.
What Providers Need to Do
We will be asking our providers for help in keeping their umms.org Find a Doctor profiles current. In reviewing and enhancing profiles, providers should consider the following:
- Is your profile content accurate?
- Does your profile accurately list all locations where you see/treat patients?
- Are there any locations listed where you do not see patients (such as academic offices or former locations)?
- Have you included a patient-friendly bio that lists your accomplishments and clinical interests?
- Is your headshot recent?
