Tax Forms
Updates to tax forms on record with UMMS must be made through the self-service feature in HRConnections.
NOTE: The federal (W-4) and state tax withholding forms are currently not available on HR Connections employee self-service. In the interim, if you need to make a change to your Federal and/or State withholdings, please download the appropriate tax withholding forms located on the HR Connections Home Page in the All Forms section. Send the completed and signed tax withholding forms to the Payroll Department via a case submitted through Ask HR Connections.
Effective January 1, 2020, the IRS will introduce a new Form W-4, which is the form used to determine how much your employer should withhold from your paycheck. How does this impact you?
- No action is required for active employees who have a W-4 on file that was submitted prior to January 1, 2020. The payroll system will continue to compute withholding based on the information from your most recently submitted Form W-4.
- Employees hired/rehired on or after January 1, 2020 must complete the new 2020 W-4
- Employees hired before January 1, 2020 but who need to change their withholdings on or after January 1, 2020 must use the new 2020 Form W-4
