Patient Placement

The patient placement division of the Access Center assists with finding and placing patients in inpatient beds.  We monitor the status of the EDs and hospitals throughout the system to determine which facilities are getting overloaded, which have space, and assess how we can get each patient the care they need as quickly and efficiently as possible.  We connect sending providers with receiving providers across the system to arrange transfer and help initiate and manage the transport request process.
