UM Access Center Ryde Central Training: How to Order Patient Transportation

On February 27, 2023, the University of Maryland Access Center (UMAC)  is launching a new system called Ryde Central, also known as TraumaSoft, for ordering patient transportation between UMMS member organizations.  Ryde Central is a single platform that will allow member organizations to access multiple vendors without multiple phone calls.

The platform will electronically connect with transport vendors to identify the best transport times for the member hospitals.  Care Managers, Case Managers, RN’s and end-users will utilize Ryde Central to request patient transportation.
