Partnership

In September 2021, the University of Maryland Medical System (UMMS) and the University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB) jointly founded a new Research Informatics core as a collaboration between the University of Maryland Institute for Clinical and Translational Research (ICTR) and the UMMS Enterprise Data and Analytics group. This core operates as a sub-department under UMMS’s Enterprise Data and Analytics group and with input and shared governance with the UMB ICTR to centralize and streamline the provision of clinical and translational data to both partners' clinical and translational researchers.

Vision

To create a comprehensive platform for access to biomedical/clinical data to support UMB, UMMS, and affiliated entities and facilitate clinical research, training and education.
