The mission of Corporate Compliance is to promote the highest standards of compliant behavior and integrity throughout the University of Maryland Medical System and its affiliated entities. We work to ensure compliance with laws and regulations, foster "doing the right thing" under all circumstances, and generally promote a culture of integrity throughout the organization.
Every day each of us does something in a certain way in order to comply with the many different laws and regulations. Everyone cannot be an expert on all laws, but Corporate Compliance creates a structure to assist the organization in its compliance efforts.
