Infor CloudSuite v11: Will Solve Problems, Save Time and Simplify Your Work

 

How about some good news?

The implementation of Infor CloudSuite v11 this October will address many of the challenges and pain points that UMMS team members face in our current Infor system including:

  • My financial reports don’t make sense and the data is different every month.
  • Why are there five different vendor numbers for one vendor?
  • I can never find supplies I order all the time in the search catalog.
  • Maintaining benefit information in two systems wastes time.

Our Infor CloudSuite project team is working hard to build a platform that will make it easier for you to complete your work each day. Keep reading to find out how we’re going to make this a reality.

Project Updates 

Infor CloudSuite is the technology that will power:

  • HRConnections (except we won’t call it that anymore…)
  • Financial Management
  • Payroll
  • Employee & Manager Self-Service
  • Supply Chain Management
  • Our project team continues to collaborate with Human Resources, Finance and Supply Chain representatives. The CloudSuite build will continue through late March, followed by thorough platform testing by impacted teams this summer.  Below is the timeline.

We are distributing regular updates to UMMS executives and team members from Human Resources, Finance and Supply Chain.  And this month, we’re including all requesters and approvers too.

High-Level Changes

 

Leaders can expect streamlined financial reporting that includes integrated data management and analysis. This structure will be standard across all member organizations, allowing for quick and easy access to critical data.  We’ve even engaged leading firm Deloitte to make best-practice recommendations – financial reports aren’t things we need to invent ourselves.

 

Below are a few new updates that you can expect with Infor CloudSuite:

  • We are reimagining the way we structure and use financial data in CloudSuite. For many of you this will show up in the departments and accounts that you use when entering expenses and requests, but this also will provide our Finance and operations teams with enhanced visibility into our shared organizational data while reducing much of the redundancy that currently exists in our accounts and department structure.   • We heard the concerns of our Human Resources (HR) benefits team. While Kelly will remain our benefits provider, our HR team members will now enjoy a single benefits platform that will be integrated within Infor CloudSuite. Click here for more information.
  • Can’t find the right vendor? We’re solving the problem with a consolidated Vendor Master. That means less guessing and more confidence that your vendor is
    right the first time. Click here for more information.
  • Requesters will order from departmental shopping lists based on their user profile. This improved shopping experience will be simple and quicker, leading to reduced paperwork and maximized patient care. Click here for more information.

What’s Next?

Additional Infor CloudSuite changes and benefits will be introduced and communicated during executive councils, leadership meetings, and steering committee meetings in the run-up to Go-Live.

Over the next few months, you can expect to see more functional changes introduced for the Finance, Human Resources and Supply Chain areas. Supporting resources will also be posted to the Infor intranet site.
