Transition to Infor: A New and Improved Supply Chain Management System

In the coming months, we will launch a new Supply Chain Management system at UM Capital Region Health using Infor. The new Infor SCM system will replace the legacy Aperek system currently in use at UM Capital Region Health.

HOW ARE WE DOING THIS?

A project team comprised of employees and leaders from UM Capital Region Health, and Corporate Shared Services is assembled and focused on the move to Infor. The team’s goal is to make the transition to the Infor platform as seamless as possible for employees.

WHY ARE WE MAKING THIS CHANGE?

This change to Infor for Supply Chain Management is another vital step toward our vision of One UMMS, streamlining our processes to produce greater collaboration, enhanced operations and, ultimately, higher quality care to the people of Maryland.

WHEN IS THIS HAPPENING?

The move to Infor for Supply Chain Management is scheduled to occur in mid-January.

WHEN WILL I BE TRAINED ON HOW TO USE THE NEW SYSTEM?

More details about the training opportunities will be shared soon, and updates will be posted on the UMMSConnect, UMMS Insider and
