Transition to Infor: Requester Comprehensive Resource Guide

Over the course of the last four months, UM Shore Regional Health and UM Urgent Care team members have invested a significant amount of time into learning and practicing on the new Supply Chain Management system.

Now that Infor SCM is live, the learning process will continue to expand as team members actively use the new system and processes. Know that there is a variety of comprehensive resources available to provide help.

1. Requester & Approver Guides

    

   These written guides provide step-by-step instructions through almost every requisitioning situation. Whether a Requester, Approver, or both, detailed instructions allow you to easily navigate the requisitioning process.

    

2. How to Video Tutorials

    

   The Infor How to Video tutorials walk users through a variety of specific requisitioning processes allowing the user to visually real-time problem solve.

    

3. Infor Sandbox

    

   Unsure of how to enter a requisition? The Infor sandbox is a dedicated practice and test area. Users may access the sandbox at any time to become comfortable with how the Infor system works and the new and different business rules. Practical Exercises are available on UMMSConnect to make practice even easier.
   
   

4. UMMSConnect

    

   UMMSConnect is the ultimate resource of all things Infor. The intranet site is found on the UMMS Insider and your local Insider page. UMMSConnect includes:

• Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) documents

• Tip sheets

• Training resources

• General ledger account cross references

• Cost center lookup tool

UM Shore Regional Health and UM Urgent Care have multiple Super Users who have received extra training on the system. 

• Super Users are a valuable asset to answer all of your questions and concerns about the Infor SCM system.
