Transition to Infor: Practice Time for Infor Supply Chain Management

 

You are receiving this email because you have been given user access to the Infor sandbox. This sandbox is a “practice area” where you can keep your Infor training fresh, try out the functions you’ve learned and gain confidence using the new system before it goes live in mid-April.

 

 

About the Sandbox

 

1. The sandbox is a training environment. It is set up with test configuration and test data. While you’re practicing, if you make an error, it does not impact anyone, and it does NOT impact patient care.
2. It’s not broken! The sandbox is set up with business rules and workflow different from the current system. That is intentional - Infor will work differently. When you complete the required training (see the announcement from Monday, 2/22) and you practice in the sandbox, you will become comfortable with the new and different business rules.
3. Practical Exercises.  To make practice even easier, the project team has created practical exercises for the Infor sandbox specific to your specialty area(s).  We encourage you to try out these real-life scenarios to make sure you understand the new system before it goes live.

When and How Do I Access the Sandbox?

 

You will be able to use the sandbox on Monday, March 15

 

1. Launch the following URL:  https://lawdc.c13m.velocitycloud.net/
2. You will see a login screen

 

1. Enter your User ID (your employee number) followed by “_test”.

   Example: 0123456_test

      4.  Enter your password. Your password is Umms<SSN>, and <SSN> is the last 4 digits of your Social Security Number.

          Example: Umms1234

      5.  Click the Sign In button.

 

 NOTE: If this is your first time logging in using this URL, you will be prompted to:

 

• Reset your password

• Set up your challenge questions

• Click OK on the pop-up screen to set up your Infor Bookmarks

 

 

 Refer to the Infor Password Reset Job Aid on UMMSConnect for assistance.

 

This password reset and challenge question set up will NOT affect your password for HR Connections – it is only for the Infor sandbox.

 

   Requester eLearning includes information on how to add and view attachments. This capability is not yet available in the sandbox. Watch for a notification once it is ready!
