Subject: Requisition Approval InBasket View and Approval Email Notification Updates

This notification is intended for Infor Requisition Approvers of Supply Chain product and service requests at:

  • UM St. Joseph Medical Center
  • UM Baltimore Washington Medical Center
  • UMMS Corporate Shared Services

Wave 1 of the Infor Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system implementation went LIVE three months ago, and since that time, we have been evaluating functionality and looking for opportunities for improvement. Today we have an important update to share about your user experience.

Summary of Changes: The approval InBasket and approval email notifications have been enriched to include additional information that many users have been asking for, including vendor name and GL accounts.

This change will take effect on June 5, 2020.

1. Requisition Approval InBasket View Updates: Approvers no longer have to drill into line details in order to view requisition line-related information

a. Indication of which lines require Value Analysis approval

b. Additional columns for item details such as manufacturer information and item type identification, vendor name, purchase from, GL distribution
    account information, and requisition requested delivery date

c. Limited the display of requisition lines to the first 10. If there are more than 10 requisition lines and they require Value Analysis approval they will
    be displayed in the Value Analysis section.

 

 

 

2. Requisition Approval Email Notification Content Updates: The approval email notification content was enhanced to provide visibility of spend by vendor(s) on one requisition

 

    a. New section with a summary of the vendor spend for the requisition

    b. Added section headers for requisition related information, approval path for requisition, and vendor spend summary

 

 

How to Get Support

An educational seminar has been scheduled for Tuesday, June 9, 2020 at 2:00pm and Wednesday, June 10, 2020 at 5:00pm for 30 minutes. Topics to be covered include:

  • Efficiencies gained with new format of the requisition approval InBasket
  • How to navigate the InBasket and take action
  • New format of requisition approval emails
