INFOR Go-Live: Updates on Getting Help and Approver Notification Emails

This notification is intended for Infor Supply Chain Management Requisitioners and Approvers at

  • UM St. Joseph Medical Center
  • UM Baltimore Washington Medical Center
  • Corporate Shared Services

We have been working hard to resolve your issues and have additional updates to share.  

1. How to Get Support 

We’ve started our transition to our “steady state”. This means the way you get help has switched over to normal business processes. This means:

  • the Infor Help Desk phone number and the inforupgradesupport email address are decommissioned
  • the kiosks are no longer operating

To obtain assistance with Infor:

  • For questions on Finance, contact your local Decision Support resource
  • For questions related to Accounts Payable, email AP at UMMSAP@umm.edu
  • For questions on Supply Chain or Infor access, email the SCM Help Desk at UMMS_Supply_Chain_CST_Serv@umm.edu or call 443-462-3476 

    Note: You can continue to find training materials, user guides, pocket guides, and FAQs on UMMSConnect.   

2. Approvers: Enhanced Email Notifications

We have acted quickly to address your feedback that Approval notification emails don’t contain enough useful information to make it easy for you to take action. On Thursday, February 27, we enacted changes to improve your experience.  In your notification, you are now able to see: 

  • Requester name
  • Requesting Location and Name 

Also, we removed the excessive whitespace and the extraneous system-generated information. 

We also implemented changes to your Inbasket. When you go into your Inbasket, for each item you can now see:

  • Requisition number
  • Requester ID
  • Requester Name
  • An improved description 

We will continue to work to improve your experience.  As a reminder, some of the items you’ve given us feedback on will take some time because they are not standard with Infor.
