Sometimes it can be difficult to decide: should I got to urgent care or to the emergency room?
Here are a few scenarios and where you should visit:
When to Visit Urgent Care
You should visit urgent care for:
- Rashes
- Tooth pain
- Sprains and strains
- Cuts needing stitches
- Sore throat
- Lower back pain
- Pink eye
- Animal or insect bite
- Cold and flu symptoms
When to Visit the ER
You should visit the ER for:
- Stomach or chest pain
- Allergic reactions
- Eye or head injuries
- Serious burns
- Stroke symptoms
- Trouble breathing
- Heart attack symptoms
- High fevers
- Possible drug overdose or poisoning
