About the Dietetic Internship Team

UMMC offers an exciting learning environment in the heart of downtown Baltimore. The Clinical Nutrition staff includes 30 Registered Dietitian Nutritionists (RDNs) across two campuses, and 4 Dietetic Technicians, Registered (DTRs).

Over 70% of RDNs hold advanced degrees and/or certifications commensurate with their high level of practice. In addition to the Clinical Nutrition team at UMMC campuses, interns also have the opportunity to work with partners in diabetes education, long-term care, and community education settings. Our experienced team provides a challenging internship, which uses direct patient care of complex patients and interdisciplinary collaboration to provide our graduates with the skills they need to be successful.
