Dietetic Internship

About

The UMMC Dietetic Internship received accreditation in 1990. We are a clinically-focused, ten-month program with a specializing in nutrition support.

Up to 6 interns are accepted annually. Our small class size allows us to provide individual attention and tailored educational experiences to each intern. Interns are mentored to develop critical thinking and communication skills, meet clinical competencies, and gain hands-on experience with complex nutrition assessment and interventions.

Rotations and learning experiences are designed to meet the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND).
