National Recognition - UMGCCC

The University of Maryland Marlene and Stewart Greenebaum Cancer (UMGCCC) has attained national recognition for excellence in cancer treatment and research. 

 As a National Cancer Institute (NCI)-designated comprehensive cancer center, UMGCCC is among the top tier of cancer centers in the country.

• Magnet designation by the American Nurses credentialing Center (ANCC)
• National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC) for our breast program
• Center of Excellence for treatment in Myelodysplastic Syndromes (MDS) by the Myelodysplastic Syndromes Foundation
• Foundation for the Accreditation of Cellular Therapy (FACT) accreditation for blood and marrow transplant based on meeting rigorous national standards and based on the latest knowledge of the field of cellular therapy product transplantation
