BCC COVID Infusion Center - Provider Referrals

The Baltimore Convention Center Field Hospital (BCCFH) is operating an outpatient infusion center to administer a monoclonal antibody therapy to treat COVID-19. 

Monoclonal Antibody Therapies at BCCFH

Authorized by the Federal Drug Administration (FDA) under an Emergency Use Authorization (EUA), this outpatient treatment has been demonstrated to reduce COVID-19 hospitalization or emergency room visits when administered within 10 days of symptom onset.

The monoclonal antibody therapy offered at the BCC COVID Infusion Center is a combination of casirivimab and imdevimab (also known as REGN-COV, manufactured by Regeneron) - Read the Provider Fact Sheet.

Hours: The COVID Infusion Center is open Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday, 1 – 4:30 pm.

Infusion Center Online Referral Form

The Baltimore Convention Center Infusion Suite team will review the referral form upon receipt and contact the patient to coordinate services as soon as possible. Please alert your patient to expect a call from us.

Please note: There is always the possibility that a patient's clinical condition may change during the time between referral and arrival to the infusion center, to the point where mAb therapy may no longer be indicated for the patient. If a patient has clinically declined by the time they arrive at the infusion center, we will refer them to a higher level of care, if needed, without administering mAb.

For Patients

We strongly prefer for patients to be seen and referred by their primary care or other provider. However, if you are newly COVID-positive and do not have a provider, you may contact the BCCFH to speak with a doctor who can explain monoclonal antibody therapy and figure out if it is right for you.

Please either complete a self-referral form at umms.org/BCCInfusion or call the Convention Center Infusion Center at 410-649-6122 between the hours of 8 am – 5pm, Monday through Friday to reach the clinical team.
