Rich is a proud New Jersey native and Yankees fan. He attended Drexel University as part of their 7 year BS-MD program where he graduated Alpha Omega Alpha. He completed residency at Mt. Sinai Hospital in NYC before coming to Maryland for Cardiology fellowship. He decided to stay on for EP fellowship for the strong mentorship and approachable learning environment. He is currently researching the role of left atrial epicardial adipose tissue in atrial fibrillation.  When he is not working, he can be found exploring various eateries with his fiancée, learning guitar and, most importantly, cheering on the Yankees.
