University of Maryland Sports Medicine specialists treat patients of all ages for activity-related injuries and conditions. Our physicians develop individual treatment plans based on the needs and goals of each patient with the intent of helping people alleviate pain and return to their desired activities.

Nonsurgical Specialists

We also use non-operative treatment plans whenever possible and regenerative medicine techniques and modalities to promote recovery. Our non-surgical sports medicine specialists are all physicians. If their more conservative treatment options are not right for you, they can refer you to one of our surgeons.
