Pediatric physiatrists assess a child's ability to maintain and improve functional ability, social interaction and participation in play/leisure activities. Services include: nerve conduction studies, electromyography, comprehensive spasticity management, as well as collaboration with orthopedic specialists.

After a detailed assessment of a patient's needs, the physiatrist will provide: medical intervention resulting in the possible prescription of rehabilitation therapy and or adaptive equipment.

Additional services also include comprehensive interdisciplinary management of spasticity and movement disorders.
