Interview Day - Internal Medicine/Pediatrics Residency

As you plan your interview at the University of Maryland, below are some helpful details:

For the 2020-2021 application season, our interviews will be conducted virtually and will begin at 9:30am EST.

We hope you are able to join our residents for a relaxing and fun virtual gathering the evening prior to your interview. A separate email will be sent with details once you schedule your interview.

On the day of your interview you will have two interviews with faculty members, as well as ample time with the residents. Each applicant is also scheduled for one on one time with our program director. You will be emailed a complete interview schedule, as well as informational materials, at least 24 hours prior to your interview.

To eliminate bias in our interview process, we start all of our interviews with two standardized questions. The questions will be emailed to you with your interview day schedule.

In accordance with the NRMP guidelines, we do not engage in post-interview communication. There is no need to send “routine” thank you notes, but if you have a specific question about our program, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
