The Orthopaedic Trauma faculty are leaders in cutting edge research programs aimed at improving the outcomes after fracture. Ongoing work includes multi-center clinical trials of more effective treatments for fractures, biomechanics of fracture fixation, rehabilitation following extremity injury, and improved strategies in limb salvage.

Specialists at the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center are available for consultation and patient referral 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
