Directions and Parking

Valet parking is available at the main hospital entrance on South Greene Street between Baltimore and West Redwood Streets. Easy directions and parking information

Flowers and Fruit Baskets

To reduce the risk of infection, live flowers and fruit baskets are not permitted on any patient care units.

Include the patient's name and room number on the envelope of any card you send.

Gift Shop

The University of Maryland Medical Center's gift shop offers a variety of gifts, magazines and flowers, as well as candy, soda and snacks. It's open 9 am - 8 pm every day. For more information, call the gift shop at 410-328-9913.

There are a number of hotels convenient to University of Maryland Medical Center that offer special discounts to Medical Center patients and their families.

Food

There are eateries inside the hospital, as well as several restaurants on and near the Medical Center campus.

Bank/ATM

There is an M&T bank and ATM in the Medical Center (first floor, Atrium). There is also a Bank of America ATM in the Medical Center (1st floor between the North and South Hospital).

Smoking

Smoking is not allowed inside the Medical Center. An enclosed smoking shelter is located outside the hospital near the Subway and Mamma Ilardo's Pizzeria restaurants. A guest services representative can give you directions.
