Community Health Needs Assessment and Implementation Plan
Pursuant to the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA), hospital facilities must perform a community health needs assessment every three years and adopt an implementation strategy to meet the community health needs identified. In collaboration with our community partners, University of Maryland Medical Center Midtown Campus last conducted a comprehensive Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) in 2018 to evaluate the heath needs of individuals living in Baltimore. The Community Health Needs Assessment presents data and key factors impacting the health of Baltimore residents.
