Amputee Rehabilitation
We are dedicated to providing comprehensive and compassionate rehabilitation and support to individuals who have undergone limb amputation. Our program is designed to match the experience, needs and goals of each person. As one of our patients, you will gain the strength and confidence needed to perform basic daily living skills and achieve independence. We offer rehabilitation for balance, gait training and any specific activities that will get you back to doing the things you love.
We provide a wide-range of treatments including:
- Adjustments to your daily living routines
- Custom-fitting and ongoing assessment and adjustment of prosthetic devices
- Patient and family support groups
- Peer counseling
- Post-surgical care
- Pre-prosthetic exercises and mobility training
Prosthetics and Orthotics Clinic
Typically held the first Friday of each month, local vendors are in our rehab clinic are available to work with you on any issues you may have with a prosthetic or orthotic device, including settings and alignments. The clinic is an excellent opportunity for prosthetic/orthotic assessment; the vendors will work with your therapist to monitor your progress and determine whether any additional components for your device are needed.

Amputee Support Group
Our amputee support group meets monthly, generally on the first Wednesday, from 6-7:30 pm. Please visit our Classes and Events calendar for details and locations.
