Katarina Joy Steacy CRNP, FNP-C, CPON, CRNP, FNP-C, CPON

Katarina Steacy has been working in oncology since 2002. Her clinical interests include pediatric cancer, central nervous system tumors, head and neck cancers, palliative care, and survivorship care.

Steacy is a nurse practitioner at the Maryland Proton Treatment Center. She knew at age 7, after a friend was diagnosed with a chronic illness and she herself dealt with a childhood illness, that she wanted to go into medicine. She is tirelessly devoted to caring for patients during critical times in their lives, supporting them — as well as their families — and educating them on their condition.

Steacy is a University of Maryland School of Nursing graduate. In her spare time, she likes to read, bake for her family, do community service and exercise outdoors.
