About Me
Dr. Regina Macatangay specializes in caring for children with blood cancers. She collaborates with a team of specialists to evaluate children and adolescents with hematology and genetic concerns.
Dr. Macatangay chose a career in pediatric hematology/oncology to combine her passion for lifelong learning and making health-related connections with children and their families.
"I enjoy working closely with my colleagues across disciplines to provide holistic, family-centered care to children and young adults, making sure they receive the care they need and deserve," she says.
Dr. Macatangay is director of the pediatric clerkship at University of Maryland School of Medicine. Her dedication to her profession and patients has earned her "Top Doctor" honors from Baltimore magazine.
In her spare time, Dr. Macatangay enjoys trivia, watching Broadway shows (especially musicals), trying new foods and spending time with family.
