As an adult endocrinologist, Dr. Munir has much experience with caring for patients diagnosed with hormonal disorders including diabetes and thyroid and pituitary disorders.

Dr. Munir's goal is to actively listen to his patients, show them the utmost compassion and respect, and individualize their care. He strives to find ways to help each patient no matter what their endocrine condition is.

Dr. Munir is medical director of the University of Maryland Center for Diabetes and Endocrinology at Midtown. He is also an associate professor of medicine at University of Maryland School of Medicine. He has previously been named a "Top Doctor" in the specialties of endocrinology and diabetes care by Baltimore magazine.
