About Me

Dr. Ducharme is committed to providing high quality care, evaluation, and treatment of patients with endocrine-related disorders. She is particularly interested in the management of diabetes, thyroid, and metabolic bone diseases such as osteoporosis.

Dr. Ducharme completed her endocrinology fellowship at the University of Maryland Medical Center. Prior to that, she attended medical school and completed her internal medicine residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.

  • The health care provider was the endocrinologist. She listened to my symptoms, reviewed the results of any recent test results, and told me my options. Upon my departure, she handed me an order for blood work, which she advised I do right away in the same building, as well as a referral to a specialist in the field for possible surgery. She must have contacted the specialist's office right away because I received a call from that office very shortly afterwards to schedule an appointment for the following week.
