About Me

Dr. Tanguilan's clinical interests are in the field of geriatrics, the high-quality, person-centered care of elderly patients. She enjoys addressing the unique needs of aging patients and helping them navigate the health challenges of getting older.

Dr. Tanguilan attended medical school at Far Eastern University Dr. Nicanor Reyes Medical Foundation Institute of Medicine in the Philippines. She completed her internal medicine residency at The Brooklyn Hospital Center in Brooklyn, New York.

The concern for my health that I saw in her on both my visits was comforting . She's everything I would want in a doctor. She's amazing and I feel blessed to be one of her patients. Dr. Mary Grace is extremely easy to talk to with a great bedside manner . I would recommend her to anyone.

  • My Dr was very friendly and knowledgeable. She has been very responsive when I send her messages through the portal. She discusses my test results, treatments and upcoming tests. She smiles a lot and reassured me that some of my health concerns have been resolved.

  • Not only did Mary Grace take care of the reason for my visit, but also saw that I was behind for a DEXA scan and a colonoscopy and gave me paperwork for both of those to be done.

Dr. Mary Grace is very soft spoken and very friendly and puts you at ease when you are in consultation with her. The University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Medical Center is extremely fortunate to have her in their employ. She is an absolute pleasure to see for my medical care and I do already and will continue to highly recommend her to others for their medical care.
