About Me

Carissa Miller is an adult gerontology nurse practitioner. In her role, she meets the health needs of patients from young adults to the elderly. 

Carissa’s holistic approach to primary care places a strong emphasis on health promotion, patient education, preventative screenings, and self-management of acute and chronic illnesses.

Miller is a member of the Nurse Practitioner Association of Maryland and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. In her spare time, she enjoys biking or hiking with her family, horseback riding and tending to her native garden.
