"Amazing" Staff Reduces the Fear of Proton Treatment

Mathias Felvang Nielsen and his family came to UMMC for his proton treatment and chemotherapy. Specialists Ashley Munchel, MD, who is a pediatric oncologist with UM Children's Hospital and Robert Malyapa, MD, PhD, who is a radiation oncologist at the Maryland Proton Treatment Center, provided double treatment for Mathias.
