The labs at University of Maryland Shore Regional Health offer comprehensive laboratory services, including phlebotomy and therapeutic phlebotomy. Phlebotomists are trained to draw blood for a wide range of patients, from newborn children to adults.
The laboratory also draws blood Monday through Friday for LabCorp and Quest exclusive/preferred provider insurance plans and forwards the specimens to the appropriate laboratory. If your insurance requires processing at LabCorp or Quest Diagnostics, 3:30 p.m. is the cut-off for blood draws.
We also process other specimens, including urine and cultures, and offer EKG services in the lab.
