Katherine J. Jacobson, MD

A family medicine physician, Dr. Katherine Jacobson sees patients of all ages. She diagnoses and treats both acute (sudden, often temporary) and long-term conditions, providing care for newborns, children and adults. 

Dr. Jacobson strives to provide excellent care to all patients, regardless of age or background. Sensitive to the uniqueness of each patient's situation, she adapts her consultations and treatment options appropriately to accommodate individual needs and concerns. As the director of medical student education for the Department of Family and Community Medicine, she also brings a love of teaching to her medical practice. Additionally, she is also program director for the Maryland Area Health Education Center. 

A native of the Baltimore area and University of Maryland School of Medicine graduate, Dr. Jacobson is thrilled to provide care to her hometown community. She has previously been named a "Top Doctor" in the specialty of family medicine by Baltimore magazine.
