About Me

Dr. Jonathan McCoy attended Hampton University, where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology and graduated from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey with his Medical degree. He completed the Emory Family Medicine Residency Program, as well as the Behavioral Medicine Fellowship Program.

In addition, to providing outstanding care for his patients here at UM BWPC, he serves as a Clinical Instructor at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. He has been practicing medicine since 2000.

Dr. McCoy also offers the additional service of sports physicals.

They walked me through the symptoms, the possible causes, and how my lifestyle could be contributing to it. They also detailed the treatment options available, including both immediate and long-term strategies for managing my condition. What I appreciated most was their emphasis on preventative care and their clear, step-by-step plan for my recovery. Their explanation made me feel informed and confident in the approach we are taking.

  • Provider was nearly insulting about me declining regular physicals. Was nearly scolding about missing appointments or tests I wasn't notified about. I prefer to only get care when needed and the provider did not respect this
